Who we are

Hi.  We are an elected group of young people from 8 areas across Herefordshire.  We were all elected in March 2006.  There are currently 23 members who make up Herefordshire Youth Council -19 elected from across the 8 areas and 4 members from the Youth Council Action Group who helped to set up the Youth Council.  We also have a seat that wasn't filled at the elections in March 2006.

We are all aged 11-18 years and we are here to represent young people's opinions and views.  We also aim to work alongside decision makers, raise awareness of youth issues and improve things in Herefordshire.

We meet up monthly as a whole youth council in Hereford and also meet as sub committees in between times to work on different projects and goals etc.
